Homeschool Mothers Journal

In my life this week....
Its been a time for reflection this week. The girls Primary (Sunday School) leader died this week after a short battle with cancer. The girls are obviously upset and we've spent alot of time talking about her.

In our homeschool this week....
Homeschool has been good - apart from DD2 who had a 'naughty' day where she tipped the sand tray onto the carpet, used her stickers on herself and threw the feathers from the sensory box all over the school room. Oh well 1 in 5 is not bad odds

Places we're going and people we're seeing.....
Mothers day in the UK this Sunday and my birthday on Monday so having a couple of nice date nights this week : )

My favourite thing this week was....
Helping the girls plant a memorial patch in our garden, they picked the flowers that reminded them most of her.

What's working/not working for us.....
Must say I am loving the new Sir Cumference books - what a great way to introduce math concepts.

Homeschool questions/thoughts I have.....
I am considering Life of Fred so if anyone has thoughts on it please let me know. (or if you know a nice discount code LOL)

A photo, video, link or quote to share.....
'And so we discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.'
