Elementary roundup

Both Lilly and Sunflower have had a busy time.
We had a 'part's of speech' poem followed by identifying other examples of nouns, pronouns etc.
did some more electricity work on parallel and series circuits and switches.

worked on their math challenges, vocabulary/spelling, geometry patterns, Russian folk tales (from Old Peters Russian Tales by Arthur Ransome - caution you may need to pre-read these to decide if they are suitable for your child) where they drew the story as they listened to the tale.
and got carried away with their button craft :)

I am impressed by the range of learning projects you do with your children. I was wondering where you got your circuit making materials. Are the ends of the wire magnetic?

Thank you!

It is the primary electricity kit from Shaws Magnets and yes the ends are magnetic - the kit does come with two crocodile clip ends as well. I bought the kit from http://www.rapidonline.com/buy/products/7511-magnetic-connections-primary-electricity-kit.html in the UK.
